Original Production Information

Duet in B-Flat had its beginning at Theater East professional workshop in Los Angeles as a work-in-progress presentation. A staged reading was held for an invited audience at the Capital City Playhouse in Austin, Texas with Steve Shearer and Judy Sklar in the leads.

The play had a full-staging at the Hyde Park Theater in Austin with the same cast.

Because of the critical (CRITIC'S CHOICE) and audience (2,000) success of the original Hyde Park production the play was revived two years later with Lyne Purtle and Ben Bartlet in the cast.
